165th King’s Plate All Set for Tomorrow at Woodbine Racetrack 

TORONTO, August 16, 2024 – The 165th running of The King’s Plate is set to take place tomorrow, Saturday, August 17th at Woodbine Racetrack. 

A field of 13 three-year-old horses bred in Canada will compete for a $1 million purse. The King’s Plate race is the 11th of 13 races scheduled for tomorrow with the first race going off at 12:25 p.m. ET.  

The event is ‘Rain or Shine’ with comfortable viewing areas throughout the property should there be inclement weather. Most event spaces and grandstand seats are covered. Umbrellas are permitted.
