40th Pepsi North America Cup attracts 33 entrants
MILTON, June 6, 2023 – The entry box for the 40th Pepsi North America Cup closed Tuesday morning with 33 three-year-old pacers entered, the highest number since 2009.
For the first time since 2009, a total of four elimination races will be needed to determine the field for the Pepsi North America Cup final. The four $50,000 eliminations will take place this Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The top-two finishers from each elimination, plus two third-place finishers drawn by lot, will advance to the $1 million final on Saturday, June 17.
The draw for Saturday’s eliminations will be released later this afternoon.
