Beau Jangles sets stakes record in Nassagaweya

MILTON, August 23, 2025 – Beau Jangles improved to five for five to lead Saturday night’s two-year-old pace Grand Circuit events at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The Grade 3 Nassagaweya for pacing colts and Grade 3 Eternal Camnation for pacing fillies saw a total of four divisions contested.

Dr. Ian Moore trainee Beau Jangles turned in another dominant performance to win the first $117,150 Nassagweya division by six-lengths in a stakes record time of 1:50. Driver Bob McClure moved the son of Cattlewash to the top in the second-quarter for a :55 half, before posting a :27.1 third-quarter ahead of a 27.4 kicker to win by open lengths.

Elmer Hanover finished second, while Stingray Deo was third.

Owned by Graham Grace Stables, Kiwi Stables and Bolton Stables, Beau Jangles is now a Grand Circuit winner to go along with his Ontario success and has earned $382,125 to date.

Dr. Moore said post-race that Beau Jangles next start is not yet decided, but is considering an OSS Gold next Friday before the Metro Pace eliminations on September 13.

Beau Jangles paid $2.10 to win.

Driver Jody Jamieson posted a win in the Nassagaweya and Eternal Camnation as part of his dream evening Saturday.

Tilthecowscomehome split rivals in the lane to regain the lead for a 1:50.3 victory in the second $117,150 Nassagaweya split. The son of Cattlewash blasted to the lead for a :26.1 opening-quarter before Dad surged up to take command. Riding in the two-hole, Tilthecowscomehome reemerged in the stretch to find a lane for Jamieson and outbattled the previously undefeated Sweet Lovin Lou for a half length score.

Sweet Lovin Lou finished second after a good-looking second-over trip. Windor was third.

Jody Jamieson shares ownership of Tilthecowscomehome with his father Carl (who also trains), Joanne Morrison and Blair Corbeil. The rookie colt is now two for five and snapped a three-race streak of finishing second, all of which came against Beau Jangles.

Tilthecowscomehome moves to over $200,000 earned. He paid $4 to win.

The first $100,200 Eternal Camnation division saw Jamieson guide Daya to a coast-to-coast 1:51.1 score for trainer Jack Darling.

A filly from the first-crop of Bulldog Hanover, Daya made the lead in :27.4 and would get middle-fractions of :57 and 1:24.2 before a :26.4 sprint home to win. Naughty Delight finished second, while No Better Air was third.

A homebred for Jack Darling Stables, Daya is now four for six and has over $184,000 earned. Her biggest win to date was in the $153,000 Battle of the Belles.

Daya paid $4.50 to win.

Jen Tilly broke her maiden in style by winning the second $101,200 Eternal Camnation division in 1:51.1.

Driven by Yannick Gingras, Jen Tilly fired out at the start along with a few others and would be parked around the first turn before finally making the lead ahead of a :55 half. The daughter of All Bets Off hit three-quarters in 1:23 and then pulled away from rivals for the victory.

Th Check Me Out was second and Sangria Summer was third.

Jen Tilly, who was second last time out in an OSS Gold, is trained by Scott McEneny for Burke Racing, Frank Baldachino, Weaver Bruscemi and Lawrence Karr. She is now one for six and has earned over $125,000.

A popular winner, Jen Tilly paid $2.90 to win.
