Double Carryover for Breeders Crown Friday at Woodbine Mohawk Park

MILTON, October 23, 2025 – The opening night of Breeders Crown weekend at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Friday evening will now feature a carryover for the Early Pick-5 and Pick-6.

A 50-1 upset winner in Thursday evening’s sixth-race helped towards a carryover for both the Pick-5 and Pick-6, as no horseplayers were unable to sweep the respective sequences.

With already an enhanced wagering menu, Friday night’s Breeders Crown card now includes a carryover of $46,241.43 for the Early Pick-5 and a carryover of $15,970.11 for the Pick-6.

The Early Pick-5, which already had a guaranteed pool of $100,000, starts in Race 1 (6:35 p.m.), while the Pick-6 begins in Race 4 (7:55 p.m.)

Both wagers feature a $0.20 minimum and a 15 per cent takeout.

Friday evening’s 13-race card is the first of two nights of Breeders Crown action at the Campbellville oval. All four $959,000 (CAD) Breeders Crown 2-Year-Old Finals will be held on the Friday program (Races 6-9).

The wagering menu for Friday also includes a $100,000 guaranteed Mid Pick-5 (Races 6-10).
