Emma-Jayne Wilson to be honoured on Saturday at Woodbine

TORONTO, July 19, 2024— Woodbine will be honouring Emma-Jayne Wilson with a special presentation on Saturday in celebration of becoming the international top-earning female jockey.

The record-breaking moment came in the fourth race at Woodbine last Thursday, when Wilson had a winning ride aboard first-time starter Perfect Lady Bee. Wilson surpassed Hall of Fame jockey Julie Krone’s record lifetime earnings of $90,126,584 (USD).

A special presentation featuring congratulatory messages will be held between races 6 and 7 on Saturday. Members of the media are invited to join the Woodbine team on the E.P. Taylor Turf for the presentation.

We hope that you will join us in celebrating Emma-Jayne Wilson’s remarkable accomplishment.
