Jackpot Hi-5 Mandatory Payout set for Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park

Carryover set at $526,417.15

MILTON, March 21, 2022 – Woodbine Entertainment today announced a mandatory payout will be offered on the Standardbred Jackpot Hi-5 this Saturday (March 26) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

With the Jackpot Hi-5 wager now frozen until Saturday’s card, the carryover for the mandatory payout is set at $526,417.15.

Previous Jackpot Hi-5 mandatory payouts have generated pools well over $1 million and this Saturday’s opportunity will feature one of the highest carryovers for a mandatory payout at Woodbine.

The Jackpot Hi-5 requires horseplayers to select the top-five finishers in order. On a regular program, a horseplayer can only win the entire jackpot if they hold the only winning ticket for that evening’s wager. If there are multiple winning tickets, half the pool is paid out, while the other half is added to the carryover.

This Saturday’s mandatory payout will see the entire carryover, plus new money wagered, paid out to all those that correctly select the top-five finishers in order. The Jackpot Hi-5 has a $0.20 minimum and a 15 per cent takeout.

The draw for Saturday’s card will take place this Wednesday and early program pages will be available at www.Woodbine.com/Mohawk/Horsepeople/.

Live racing continues each Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Post time is 7 p.m.
