Kentucky Derby: Watch and Wager with Woodbine  

TORONTO, May 1, 2025— Woodbine Entertainment invites local racing fans to watch and wager on the 151st Kentucky Derby at Woodbine and Woodbine Mohawk Park this weekend. 

Live racing will take place across both racetracks, allowing fans the in-person thrill of racing and the ability to watch and wager on all the action from Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. 

Friday’s card from Churchill starts at 11 a.m. and features the Kentucky Oaks, while Saturday’s Kentucky Derby card also begins at 11 a.m. 

Below are the details for this weekend at Woodbine and Woodbine Mohawk Park. 

Woodbine Mohawk Park in Milton 

The Racebook opens at Noon on Friday and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. 

Live racing takes place both Friday and Saturday at the Campbellville oval beginning at 6:35 p.m. 

The Kentucky Derby post time on Saturday is set for 6:57 p.m., landing between the first and second live race. Saturday’s 12-race card at Woodbine Mohawk Park features the Canadian Graduate Series Finals (Races 2, 6 ​ and 10). 

Tim Hortons will be open at 2 p.m. on Friday and at Noon on Saturday for those attending the Racebook. Dining reservations at Trackside Bar and Patio are still available on OpenTable. 

Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto 

The second-floor racing area of the Grandstand will be open all-day on Friday and Saturday for fans to watch and wager on racing from Churchill and around the world. ​ 

Live racing will take place on Saturday at Woodbine beginning at 1:05 p.m. The 10-race card will be led by the Grade 3 $150,000 Whimsical Stakes. ​ 

Ladies at the track can browse hats and fascinators from Queen Bee Millinery from 1-6 p.m. in the Hall of Fame. ​
