Mohawk Qualifiers Cancelled and Rescheduled to Saturday

MILTON, May 1, 2026 – Woodbine Mohawk Park has been forced to cancel today’s (Friday, May 1) qualifiers and reschedule them to tomorrow (Saturday, May 2) at 9:30 a.m.

The cancellation is due to major issues on Highway 401 westbound caused by an oil spill and multiple crashes. The traffic issues caused the EMS personnel that were to attend qualifiers to be unable to make qualifiers on time. After a delay of more than an hour and a half, the decision was made to postpone qualifiers.

Qualifiers and live racing are unable to proceed without EMS present.

The qualifiers scheduled for today will be held as drawn tomorrow morning beginning at 9:30 a.m.
