Mohawk Saturday Box Stays Open; Peaceful Way straight to final

MILTON, August 12, 2025 – Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Race Office would like to inform all trainers that the entry box for this Saturday’s card (August 16) will remain open until Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m.

The entry box remains open due to a short number of entries.

Additionally, the entry box for the William Wellwood Memorial (Grade 1) and Peaceful Way (Grade 1) closed Tuesday morning. A pair of eliminations will be contested on Friday for two-year-old trotting colts and geldings in the Wellwood.

The Peaceful Way attracted 11 two-year-old trotting fillies and will go directly to the final on Saturday, August 23. A $30,000 Peaceful Way prep race will take place on Friday.
