Opening Quarter
“My first impression of Woodbine was, ‘Wow, finally after three years of waiting, I’m finally here.’ I was really excited to be there. To have my first ride be a winner was surreal and that really helped propel me forward to get the ball rolling so quickly.”
Half Mile
“I’m most proud of how well the season went. Moving to a new country and starting fresh in a new racing jurisdiction is always a challenge, but I was able to make it happen. In saying that, I had a lot of help along the way from the trainers, owners, my agent Mike Luider, and especially all the horses.”
Stretch Drive
“As for what I learned about myself, I realized I can adapt to new challenges and different riding styles. Hard work and self-belief really do pay off.”
Finish Line
“This year, I want to better my win tally from last season and continue to work with a positive attitude.”
