Nominations released for 2025 King’s Plate and Woodbine Oaks ​ 

TORONTO, June 11, 2025 – Woodbine today released the latest nominations for The King’s Plate and Woodbine Oaks presented by Stella Artois. 

Following the original subscriptions in April, the connections of nominated horses were required to submit an additional payment by June 4, 2025, to remain eligible to either race. 

The 166th King’s Plate, the first jewel of the OLG Canadian Triple Crown, on Saturday, August 16, has 49 Canadian bred three-year-olds remain eligible, plus two supplements, to bring the total number of nominees to 51.

The Woodbine Oaks presented by Stella Artois, to be run on Sunday, July 20, has 34 Canadian bred three-year-old fillies remain eligible, plus two supplements, for a total of 36.
