Nominations released for King’s Plate and Woodbine Oaks

TORONTO, June 7, 2024 – Woodbine today released the latest nomination numbers for The King’s Plate and Woodbine Oaks presented by Stella Artois.

Following the original subscriptions in April, the connections of nominated horses were required to submit an additional payment by June 5, 2024, to remain eligible to either race.

The 165th King’s Plate, to be contested on Saturday, August 17, had 52 Canadian bred three-year-olds remain eligible, plus one supplement, to bring the total number of nominees to 53.

The Woodbine Oaks, to be run on Saturday, July 20, has 34 Canadian bred three-year-old fillies nominated, plus one supplement, for a total of 35.
