Posts drawn for several Breeders Crown Finals

MILTON, October 21, 2022 – The post position draws for six of next weekend’s Breeders Crown finals took place Friday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Friday’s card saw the fields for the quartet of Breeders Crown two-year-old events determined through several elimination races. The 2-Year-Old Colt Pace, 2-Year-Old Colt Trot and 2-Year-Old Filly Pace all required two eliminations each. The 2-Year-Old Filly Trot saw a single elimination contested.

Following the eliminations, the post position draw for all four events were held. Elimination winners and the “Win and You’re In” horses (Kilmister, Instagram Model) drew for posts one through five, while all remaining horses then went into a draw for the remaining posts.

Here are the fields for the 2-Year-Old Breeders Crown events.

Only two Breeders Crown events did not require eliminations. The 3-Year-Old Filly Pace attracted 11 entrants, while the Mare Trot landed with eight entrants.
