Power Pick 6 Mandatory Payout set for Opening Day of Woodbine Season

TORONTO, April 10, 2026 – Woodbine Entertainment today announced a mandatory payout will be offered on the Power Pick 6 on opening day of the 2026 Thoroughbred racing season (Saturday, April 18) at Woodbine Racetrack.

The Power Pick 6 was not paid out on the final day of the 2025 season due to a mid-card cancellation. The carryover for the mandatory payout on opening day is $61,064.99. The wager offers a $0.20 minimum and 15 per cent takeout.

The 2026 Thoroughbred racing season at Woodbine launches next Saturday (April 18) with the first of 128 scheduled race dates.

Post time is set for 1:20 p.m.

Live racing is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays during the first three weeks of the season before adding Fridays on May 8 and Thursdays on June 11. The racing season is scheduled to run until December 13.
