REMINDER: King’s Plate post draw and luncheon set for Tuesday

TORONTO, August 12, 2024 – The post-position draw and luncheon for the 165th running of The King’s Plate is set to take place Tuesday at Woodbine Racetrack.

The event, which is open to media and the connections of horses running in this year’s race, will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Trackside Clubhouse.

Natalie Spooner, the inaugural MVP of the PWHL and a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, will be the special guest assisting with the draw.

The 165th King’s Plate, which is contested for a purse of $1 million, will take place this Saturday (August 17).

Tuesday’s post draw and luncheon will be live streamed at Woodbine.com.
