Winter Series Nominations at Woodbine Mohawk Park

MILTON, November 10, 2022 – Woodbine Entertainment has announced details for its upcoming Winter Series. A total of four series events will be contested this December through February.  All events feature two preliminary legs and an added money final. Nominations close December 1, 2022.  

The conditions and details for the four winter series events are as follows: 

 

Niagara (Pace) 

EVENT #61: Three year-old pacing fillies in 2022, non-winners of $60,000 lifetime, as of midnight, October 31, 2022.  

1st Leg: Friday, December 9, 2022 ($18,000G each)  

2nd Leg Friday, December 16, 2022 ($18,000G each)  

FINAL: Monday, December 26, 2022 ($30,000 Added) 

 

Valedictory (Pace) 

EVENT #62: Three year-old pacing colts and geldings in 2022, non-winners of $60,000 lifetime, as of midnight, October 31, 2022.   

1st Leg: Saturday, December 10, 2022 ($18,000 G each) 

2nd Leg: Saturday, December 17, 2022 ($18,000 G each) 

FINAL: Monday, December 26, 2022 ($30,000 Added) 

 

Blizzard (Pace) 

EVENT #34: Three and Four year-old pacing fillies & mares in 2023, non-winners of two races or $30,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2022.  

1st Leg : Thursday, January 26, 2023 ($18,000 G each) 

2nd Leg : Thursday, February 2, 2023 ($18,000 G each) 

FINAL: Friday, February 10, 2023 ($30,000 Added) 

 

Snowshoe (Pace) 

EVENT #35: Three and Four year-old pacing colts, horses & geldings in 2023, non-winners of two races or $30,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2022. 

1st Leg : Friday, January 27, 2023 ($18,000 G each) 

2nd Leg: Friday, February 3, 2023 ($18,000 G each) 

FINAL: Friday, February 10, 2023 ($30,000 Added)
