TORONTO, August 6, 2026 — Woodbine Entertainment today released the official wagering menu for the 167th running of the King’s Plate, taking place Saturday, August 15 at Woodbine Racetrack.
The $1 million King’s Plate, Canada’s most prestigious horse race, will headline a thrilling day of racing that is complemented by an extensive betting menu.
Highlights of The King’s Plate wagering menu include:
- $250,000 Guaranteed Early Pick-5
- $250,000 Guaranteed Middle Pick-5
- $250,000 Guaranteed Late Pick-5
- Early Pick-4
- Middle Pick-4
- Late Pick-4
- Woodbine Stakes $5 Pick-3
- Power Pick-6 Mandatory Payout
- Jackpot Hi-5 Mandatory Payout
The King’s Plate card features six stakes races and more than $2 million in total purses.

- $200,000 Canadian Stakes – Presented by Japan Racing Association (G2T)
- $200,000 bet365 King Edward Stakes (G2T)
- $175,000 Bold Venture Stakes (G3)
- $150,000 Catch A Glimpse Stakes

The draw for entire King’s Plate card will take place on Wednesday (August 12), with the post draw for the 167th King’s Plate race conducted Tuesday morning during a special breakfast and press conference. The live stream will be available at Woodbine.com.
