Woodbine encourages trainers to use Online Entry System

MILTON, April 17, 2025 – With the busiest part of the racing season approaching, Woodbine Mohawk Park and the Clinton Raceway Race Offices would like to encourage all trainers to use the online entering system.
The number of trainers using Standardbred Canada’s online entering system continues to grow and it remains a goal of Woodbine to have 100 per cent of entries received online.
“We have a number of online services available to our racing participants and have seen strong responses for some of them, including the sign-up for direct deposit payment of purse earnings,” said Bill McLinchey, Vice-President of Standardbred Racing for Woodbine. “We’d really like to see trainers take advantage of all these services, most notably the online entry system, which is easy to use and helps with workflow for our race offices.”
The Standardbred Canada online entry system allows trainers to enter into primary conditions and provide back-up conditions for their horses. There is also a comment section to ensure that any special instructions are seen by Race Office staff prior to the draw.
The Woodbine Mohawk Park and Clinton Raceway Race Offices handle all draws for Standardbred tracks across Ontario.
