Woodbine introduces EFT option for purse payments

TORONTO, April 17, 2023 – Woodbine Entertainment is pleased to announce the offering of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for purse payments this season at Woodbine Racetrack.

EFT, commonly referred to as direct deposit, is the globally accepted best practice for payroll and other forms of payment worldwide. Payments are automatically and securely deposited into an organization, group or individuals designated bank account.

To begin receiving EFT payments, racing participants must complete an EFT authorization form and return either in-person or by e-mail to Tammy Frost ([email protected]), Thoroughbred Bookkeeper. If submitting the form by e-mail, a copy of a valid photo ID must also be provided for verification purposes.

EFT payments will be handled the same as cheque requests on a request only basis. These requests can be made by phone, email or in person.

Woodbine strongly encourages all participants to register for EFT payments.
