Woodbine Mohawk Park adjusts live racing schedule for end of 2025

MILTON, September 3, 2025 – Woodbine Entertainment today announced a change to its 2025 live Standardbred racing schedule for the months of November and December at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Woodbine has received approval from the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to remove eights Thursdays from the live racing schedule over November, December and January. Woodbine Mohawk Park will now instead offer live racing on eight Sundays during November and December.

The date changes are listed below.

Drop (Thursdays)

November: 6, 13, 20, 27
December: 4, 11, 18
January: 1

Add (Sundays)

November: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
December: 7, 14, 28

There will be no live racing on Sunday, December 21.

The schedule change is following an internal review by Woodbine for potential wagering growth opportunities. Wagering on live racing at Woodbine Mohawk Park, notably dollars wagered in Ontario, fuel the racing industry in Ontario, including programs such as the Ontario Sires Stakes.

The updated schedule will see four consecutive nights of live racing (Friday-Monday) and three consecutive dark nights (Tuesday-Thursday).

Post time remains 6:35 p.m.
