MILTON, October 22, 2026 — Woodbine Entertainment is honoured to share that Woodbine Mohawk Park has been named Large Business of the Year by the Milton Chamber of Commerce at the Milton Excellence Awards Gala, held October 21 at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club.
Since 1981, the Milton Chamber of Commerce’s Milton Excellence Awards have celebrated outstanding achievements in business and community leadership. Woodbine Mohawk Park has received this prestigious recognition in its first year of nomination, making the award especially meaningful.
Woodbine Mohawk Park has been a longstanding part of Milton’s landscape, serving as an entertainment destination, community gathering place and employer for residents across the town and surrounding areas. It is also a vital part of the Ontario horse racing industry that supports thousands of people and businesses, from the local farms and training centres, to the veterinarians, blacksmiths, feed suppliers, and beyond.
Woodbine Mohawk Park’s success and community impact are made possible by its dedicated team members, whose passion and commitment help create memorable experiences for guests and strengthen community connections.
“Every day, our team is committed to delivering an exceptional experience, whether through world-class racing, outstanding hospitality or the many interactions that make a visit to Woodbine Mohawk Park memorable,” said Michael Copeland, CEO of Woodbine Entertainment. “We’re proud to be part of the Milton community and grateful to the Milton Chamber of Commerce for recognizing the contributions our excellent team.”
Woodbine Entertainment sincerely thanks the Milton Chamber of Commerce for this recognition and looks forward to continuing to welcome the community to Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The community will have a great opportunity to visit Woodbine Mohawk Park on November 28 for the fourth annual Winter Wonderland and Market, taking place from 3 to 7 p.m. Families are invited to celebrate the holiday season with an afternoon of festive activities, including a holiday market featuring more than 40 local vendors, children’s activities, a visit with Santa and live entertainment. Admission and parking are free.
