Woodbine monitoring air quality
MILTON, June 28, 2023 – With the air quality index for Milton currently measuring at ‘High Risk’ by Environment Canada, Woodbine is monitoring the situation and in communication with COSA.
As of Wednesday evening, Environment Canada is forecasting the air quality to improve overnight, and it is forecasted to be at the ‘Moderate Risk’ level tomorrow.
Woodbine will continue to monitor the air quality and forecast through Wednesday night and Thursday morning to confirm whether to proceed with live racing at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
As of Wednesday evening, the air quality is forecasted to be at the ‘Moderate Risk’ level by post-time on Thursday.
Woodbine will confirm the status of live racing by Noon tomorrow.
