Woodbine pushes Sunday post time to 4 p.m.

TORONTO, June 20, 2025 — Woodbine Entertainment today announced the post time for this Sunday’s (June 22) card of live racing at Woodbine Racetrack has been pushed back to 4 p.m.

The later post time of 4 p.m. is due to extreme heat forecasted for the Toronto area.

The decision was made to prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our horses and all racing participants, with approval from the AGCO and consultation with the HBPA.

Throughout the weekend, Woodbine will put additional safety measures in place, including shorter post parades and increased water/hose access for all horses pre- and post-race.

This week’s live racing schedule continues on Saturday at 1:05 p.m., and Sunday at 4 p.m.
