Woodbine releases details for 2026 Mohawk Million

MILTON, January 26, 2026 – Woodbine Entertainment is now accepting entries to purchase a slot in the 2026 Mohawk Million (G1) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The price to a purchase a slot in this year’s Mohawk Million has been increased from $50,000 to $60,000 (CAD). A total of 10 slots (each priced at $60,000) are available once again.

The Mohawk Million for two-year-old trotters is scheduled for Saturday, September 26 at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The deadline to submit a slot purchase contract for the Mohawk Million is Tuesday, February 17. The contract must be accompanied by $30,000.

Should more than 10 parties submit to purchase a slot, a draw will be held to determine the 10 slot owners. Those selected in the draw will then have until June 1 to submit the remaining $30,000 of the slot fee.

Each slot is an entity that may be sold, traded or leased. Slot owners must declare a horse to race in their slot by Monday, September 21 at Noon.

The conditions for the Mohawk Million will again limit an owner and/or trainer to declaring a maximum of three horses to the event.

Any interested parties or those seeking more information on the Mohawk Million can contact Bill McLinchey, Vice-President of Standardbred Racing, at bmclinchey@woodbine.com.
