Woodbine to live stream post-position draw for Canadian International (G1) 

TORONTO, September 29, 2025— Woodbine will live stream the post-position draw for the Grade 1 Canadian International this Wednesday (October 1). 

The Canadian International (G1), set for Saturday, October 4, is the feature race of Woodbine’s Fall Turf Showcase. This will mark the 85th running of the Canadian International, which was last run in 2023. ​ 

Also drawn live on Wednesday will be the Nearctic Stakes (G2) presented by Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance and the bet365 Dance Smartly Stakes (G2). New this year, the bet365 Dance Smartly Stakes has the bonus of awarding an automatic invitation to the Pegasus World Cup Filly & Mare Turf Invitational Stakes (G2) in January at Gulfstream.
