Woodbine to proceed with live racing Saturday

TORONTO, July 18, 2026 - Woodbine Entertainment has announced that live Thoroughbred racing at Woodbine Racetrack will proceed as scheduled today (Saturday, July 18).

Based on Environment Canada’s current air quality forecast, which indicates moderate risk conditions this afternoon, Woodbine will be able to proceed with the scheduled 10-race card.

In accordance with the AGCO’s directive that racing be cancelled if the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) reaches the high risk category, Woodbine will continue to closely monitor air quality conditions throughout the day. Should conditions deteriorate, further updates will be provided as necessary.
