Woodbine Winter Series Nominations due Monday

MILTON, November 27, 2024 – Nominations closes this Monday for Woodbine Mohawk Park’s annual Winter Series.

The Winter Series consists of the Niagara, Valedictory, Blizzard and Snowshoe. All events have two preliminary legs and a $30,000 added money final.

The Niagara and Valedictory begin in early December and wrap up on Boxing Day (December 26), while the Blizzard and Snowshoe will take place in January.

The nomination fee for each series is $200.

The conditions and dates for each series are listed below:

Niagara Series

3-Year-Old Pacing Fillies in 2024 – Non-Winners of $60,000 Lifetime as of October 31, 2024

Leg 1: Friday, December 6, 2024 ($17,000 each Division)
Leg 2: Friday, December 13, 2024 ($17,000 each Division)
Final: Thursday, December 26, 2024 ($30,000 Added)

Valedictory Series

3-Year-Old Pacing Colts & Geldings in 2024 – Non-Winners of $60,000 Lifetime as of October 31, 2024

Leg 1: Saturday, December 7, 2024 ($17,000 each Division)
Leg 2: Saturday, December 14, 2024 ($17,000 each Division)
Final: Thursday, December 26, 2024 ($30,000 Added)

Blizzard

3 & 4-Year-Old Pacing Fillies & Mares in 2025 – Non-Winners of 2 Races or $30,000 Lifetime as of October 31, 2024

Leg 1: Thursday, January 16, 2025 ($18,000 each Division)
Leg 2: Thursday, January 23, 2025 ($18,000 each Division)
Final: Friday, January 31, 2025 ($30,000 Added)

Snowshoe

3 & 4-Year-Old Pacing Colts, Horses & Geldings in 2025 – Non-Winners of 2 Races or $30,000 Lifetime as of October 31, 2024

Leg 1: Friday, January 17, 2025 ($18,000 each Division)
Leg 2: Friday, January 24, 2025 ($18,000 each Division)
Final: Friday, January 31, 2025 ($30,000 Added)
